For the past two weeks, a combination of end-of-semester tasks and family medical issues (everyone is now on the mend) have led me to neglect this blog. I am delighted to report that I have graded my last assignment and entered my final grades.
Wondering what I'm going to do with all that free time? Here (in no particular order) is my top 10 list.
- Tackle the various drop-and-run piles that have developed over the past few weeks: Sort, toss & file, as appropriate. (Okay, this is my #1 task!)
- Get in the Christmas spirit. Shopping is all-but complete. Wrapping and decorating are definite yeses. Baking is a strong possibility.
- Get back on track with my writing.
- Get back on track with my blog schedule.
- Decorate my new sunroom (once the floor and final windows are in).
- Blow the dust off those books I was reading for fun before the express freight train of the last two weeks of the semester bore down on me.
- Put my sketchnoting markers in their new case (an end-of-semester present from me to me).
- Check out the fun stuff I downloaded for my spring semester entertainment -- sketchnoting and podcasting videos.
- Get back on track with Duolingo.
- Put up my feet and chill out without a laundry list of school to-do's dancing through my head like rotten sugarplums.
And maybe, just maybe, the soundtrack to all of this will be Christmas music.
It's also possible that it will be an audiobook. Or a TED Talk.
But only because I want to. :-)
