What does "creative" mean to you? Artistic? Musical? Poetic?
In this article from Inc., Molly Reynolds argues that creativity extends beyond the narrow definition most of us carry around. Creativity is an approach, an outlook and, above all, a hedge against failure.
I love this idea. Looking at creativity in this broad brush fashion pretty much guarantees that we all have at least a little creativity in us, which is a pretty nice thought. And using creativity as a means of triumphing over failure puts us in the driver's seat when things go wrong, as they inevitably will.
